Client Brief & Recommendation
Relocating to a much larger manufacturing facility in Hartlebury with 3500 square metres and as part of the refurbishment project the client required, a high wearing, gloss, epoxy resin floor that was suitable for Engineering and manufacturing production. The existing concrete floor had layers of old floor paint that would need to be removed and it was recommended to install a two coat high build epoxy resin flooring system as it is a hard wearing, gloss, suitable for Engineering and manufacturing production.
The Preparation
In preparation for the recommended high build epoxy resin floor system the old floor paint was removed and concrete prepared using the captive diamond grinding machine. All the previous tenants racking bolt holes filled using resin filler and polyurethane mortar compound and repairs damaged localised concrete, holes and cracks as required.
3500 sqm Resdev Pumatect Two Coat High Build Epoxy Resin Floor System
The 3500 square metre area was laid with a Resdev Pumatect two coat high build epoxy resin floor system which consisted of two coats of high build epoxy resin in the clients chosen light grey. A pedestrian walkway using Resdev Pumatect in Chelsea Blue with white edging line was also installed.
The job was completed in just 9 days, on time and within the clients budget.
