GK Evolution Ltd – Vehicle Workshop Flooring
PSC Flooring were invited to look at 310 square metres area in Dorking, for new vehicle workshop for a company providing cars to order for the film industry including many A listed movies, which have included Mission Impossible film, Batman, Indiana Jones and James Bond.
Client Brief and Recommendation
The Client was looking to create an easy to clean space that would show off their unique collection and allow them to invite potential clients in to view the cars.
It was noted at the site visit that the concrete was in good condition and as such recommended a two coat High Build Epoxy Resin System that is ideal for Vehicle Workshop flooring as it is hard-wearing and easy to keep clean.
In Preparation
We thoroughly cleaned and prepared the entire floor area using a combination of the totally enclosed diamond grinding machine and a handheld 110v diamond grinder. After grinding, we vacuumed the floor to remove all residue and dust, and we repaired any localised damaged concrete, holes, and cracks using epoxy resin filler as needed. The final step in the preparation process was to infill approximately 50 linear meters of expansion joints with polyurethane jointing compound.

We installed 2 coats of Resdev Pumatect High Build, Epoxy Resin flooring system, in the clients chosen light Grey Gloss colourway.
The job took just two days and was completed on time and within budget.
