Bilton & Johnson Building – Engineering and Manufacturing Flooring
The existing 2400 square meter concrete floor surface area was thoroughly cleaned and prepared. The first step was to shotblast the entire area on a light setting using the totally enclosed ride on shotblasting preparation system. The existing anti slip, textured resin walkway was then removed using a double headed diamond grinding machine and all edgework was prepped using a handheld diamond grinder. The area was then vacuumed clean ensuring all residues and dust were removed.
Repairs were made to localised damaged concrete, cracks and holes using resin filler and epoxy mortar compound and the existing expansion joints were then filled using polyurethane jointing compound to circa 60 linear meters.
Finally, two coats of Resdev Pumatect High Build epoxy resin flooring system in the client’s light grey gloss.
The job was completed in just 5 days and on budget.
