Bilton & Johnson – Engineering and Manufacturing Flooring
Bilton & Johnson (Building) Co Ltd a construction company based in Brentwood Essex, providing quality building contracting services including refurbishment, fit out and new builds working, called in PSC Flooring to look at refurbishing floor surfaces as part of a dilapidation at a 525 square metre building in Crawley.
The floor had existing floor tiles and the client chose to carry out the refurbishment works on top of the tiled surface.
In preparation the existing tile floor surface was thoroughly cleaned and prepared using the totally enclosed shotblasting preparation system. The area was then thoroughly vacuumed clean to remove all residues and dust and localised repairs made before one coat of Resdev Pumaprime DPM epoxy resin priming system was laid.
In order to renew the stability of the floor a nominal 8mm DPC Cemflow cementitious heavy-duty pump screed before the final finish of three coats of Resdev Pumatect high build epoxy resin, in the clients chosen mid grey. The job was completed in just 7 days, completely transforming the dilapidated floor ready to be used again.
