LFI (UK) Ltd. – Food Grade Flooring
PSC were recently called into local firm LFI (UK) Ltd. LFI produces dry food powders and mixes at its Worcestershire processing facility. Privately owned and independent, the company has been producing powder blends for the food industry since 1987.
The existing bagging area floor had failed floor paint all of which would need to be removed before any flooring system could be laid.
In Preparation
In preparation for the 6mm RT Screed the entire floor was ground back using a totally enclosed double headed diamond grinding machine. The edgework was ground back using a totally enclosed handheld 110v diamond grinder. 6mm x 6mm saw cut channel were made to the perimeter floor and to door thresholds in enable the screed to be toed in and anchored. Finally, all residues and dust were vacuumed clean.
220 Square Metres – Food Grade Flooring
220 square metres of Resdev Pumadur RT polyurethane screed was laid using the hand trowel method in the clients chosen matt Red. The job was completed in just 4 days leaving another satisfied food processing client.
