PSC Flooring have been working with Roger Dyson Group a UK Recovery & Transportation System Manufacturer in Droitwich, Worcestershire installing a number of workshop floors, since 2003.
The new 1000 square metre HGV workshop had a new concrete floor which when tested with a damp meter showed high levels of moisture content. As such it was recommended by PSC Flooring that two coats of Resdev Pumaprine Damp Proof epoxy resin primer would be needed to ensure moisture did not rise and delaminate the new flooring surface.
The space lightly shotblasted via a totally enclosed shotblasting machine in preparation to create a key for the epoxy resin flooring system. Once prepared, the 2 coats of DPM were applied. Then two coats of Resdev Pumatect high build epoxy resin in the clients chosen light grey were applied and 200mm demarcation edging lines in Resdev Pumatect V high build epoxy resin, in safety yellow were laid around pit areas and also alongside each pit to help HGV drivers reverse into the workshop.
Overall, the total job took 6 days, which met the client’s expectations.
