PSC Flooring are delighted to refurbish 1050 square metres of Engineering and Manufacturing flooring in Hereford for a leading manufacturer. Denco Fluid Systems designs and manufactures bespoke lubrication, cooling, and filtration systems for industrial applications.
The brief was to refurbish the floors in two units where the client specified that they required an anti slip, epoxy resin, gloss finish. Due to the nature of the manufacturing processes with a lot of lubricants PSC recommended a two coat High Build epoxy resin coating system incorporating a 0.4 to 0.8mm quartz aggregate.
In preparation for the High Build epoxy resin coating system, the old floor paint was fully removed using the captive diamond grinding machine. Any dust and debris was then hoovered up before all cracks, bolt holes and over 200 linear metres of joints were repaired.
The two coat KDR Epocoat High Build epoxy resin coating system in the clients Steel, light Grey was laid, incorporating a 0.4 to 0.8mm quartz aggregate.
Finally, over 150 sq mtrs of walkways were laid in Epocoat HB, Green Ral 6024
The project took a total of 6 days, finished on time and the client is delighted with the finish.
