At PSC we often work with project management companies to deliver a project for a third-party client. In this case we were invited by Esprit UK Ltd, a renowned shopfitting and retail fit-out company, offering interior fitting-out solutions since its establishment in 1995 to look at a 3200 square meter floor for a third-party client in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
In this case the end client was looking for a hardwearing floor surface for their new warehouse. The concrete was newly laid and as such was extremely hard so we recommended to stay within budget that the floor be ground back before installing a two coat High Build Epoxy Resin Floor System.
The first stage of the preparation process involved thoroughly cleaning and preparing the concrete surfaces using a double-headed, diamond grinding floor preparation system and hand-held 110v diamond grinder. Once the grinding was complete the entire floor was vacuumed clean.
The application of two coats of KDR Epocoat, High Build Epoxy Resin Flooring System, integrated with a polymer bead aggregate (250 to 450 microns) to enhance anti-slip properties, was installed in the client’s chosen Mid Grey Slate colourway.
The entire project was accomplished within a duration of just 7 working days, in strict adherence to our delivery plan.
